Justin Hellman
Band leader Justin Hellman is quickly making a name for himself in the Bay Area jazz scene as a both a leader and a sideman. He has a bachelors degree in music from UC Berkeley, and has studied privately with Michael Manring, Kai Eckhardt, and Stephen Tramontozzi. Over the years, he has played with Paul McCandless, Paul Hansen, Steve Coleman, Henry Threadgill, Dave Ellis, and Will Bernard.

Khalil Doak Anthony
Bay Area native Khalil Doak-Anthony is the guitarist in the trio. He received a scholarship to the Berklee School of Music, and studied in San Francisco States music program, as well as privately with John Handy. Doak-Anthony has performed at some of the best venues in the area, including the Great American Music Hall, and he has worked with a diverse array of artists including Narada Michael Waldon, Lonnie Smith, Calvin Keys, Sheila E., and Herbie Lewis.

Gary Claude
Drummer Gary Claude has a B.M. from the University of Louisville where he studied classical percussion music and techniques. In addition, he has
studied privately with Steve Davis, Joe LaBarbera, & Winard Harper. Currently living in San Francisco, Gary has played with the Louisville Orchestra, Wynton Marsalis, Benny Golsen, Stanley Turrentine, New York Voices, Hal Galper, and the Pennies. He has also been a faculty member at the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Camp and at the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
